Instructions About Texts
How to submit texts:
After you make sure that your text is compliant with the points mentioned below, send
your article as plain text, MS Word document file (with no macros), or as HTML document
(with no scripts and no unrelated content) to evren@ae.metu.edu.tr
Here are some points that you should be careful about when
submitting texts.
- Please try to be informative, and not
persuasive in your style. If you think you have a debatable idea that you would
like to put forth please use the "Discussion" part of our site.
- Your texts may be original pieces of your own or excerpts from various resources in the
form of books, essays, etc.
- For your original pieces, make sure that your article is your own making (original), objective, and
without any ethnic, political or religious slurs. Also make
sure that all quotations are acknowledged.
- For excerpts from books, it is essential that you also give
the book's author, year, title, and ISBN (or more practically, bibliographical
info)
- For essay excerpts, its suggested that the amount taken
from the essay does not constitute a high proportion of the
essay itself. (for copyrights considerations)
